Finding Futures

Project SEARCH has been a life-changing experience for me. I have achieved a lot and for anyone considering applying I would really recommend it.

Applicants must:

  • Be aged between 16 and 24 years old on the 1st September
  • Have an Education, Health & Care Plan
  • Be able to evidence previous work experience (voluntary or paid)
  • Be able to demonstrate appropriate communication and behavior in the workplace

How To Apply

The programme has limited spaces each year, so applying early is key:

  • Request, complete and submit application form
  • If shortlisted, invited to a ‘skills assessment day’
  • If shortlisted, invited to interview
  • If successful, place offered (on conditional or unconditional basis)
    • The place is also reliant on a successful consultation as the EHCP Annual Review process still applies. Project Search must be named in Section I of the EHCP.
  • ‘Reserve’ list, if successful but a late applicant
